While there are many people who would kill to have a pear shaped body, for many people who have them, they would do just about anything to get rid of pear shaped body. While you may not be able to change what you were born with, there are ways to change your body shape to a point, and it’s a lot easier than you may think. It’s amazing how a few simple changes to your overall life can completely change your life forever.
Of course, to get a smaller shape in general, you can never go wrong by eating correctly. The better your diet, the easier your body is going to be able to change and alter in the ways of your liking. Of course, just eating right is not good enough to get the job done. You also need to work out on a regular basis. The most important things to do are lifting weights and doing cardio at least a few times a week.
When you life weights, you are going to build mass in the upper portion of your body, masking your pear-like shape because your top half will appear similar to the shape of the lower portion of your body. Squats and lunges are also great ways to help your body shape, as they are going to build up your leg muscles and allow your legs to look much more fit overall.
Cardio, as I’m sure you can guess is going to help you burn more calories and help you lose fat. For the best results, you should try to do high intensity work outs for at least 30 minutes a day, four times a week. You may want to invest in something like a stair stepper to work your bottom and your thighs as well.
Another great way to feel more comfortable and confident in your shape is to wear things that compliment your shape. To hide a pear shaped body, you can stick to wearing dark colors on the bottom part of your body; typically sticking with one color is best. Lighter colors are fine for the top portion of your body. If you go with horizontal stripes on your shirt, it will appear that you have wider shoulders and smaller hips.
A recent research has found that having a moderately pear shaped body can actually lessen your chances of getting diabetes. According to a study by Doctor Kerrin Small, a genomics research from King’s College, a genetic predisposition towards a pear shaped figure also significantly lessens the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Remember, everyone is different and so it’s important to try to look and feel your best without trying to look like someone else. It’s not possible to be exactly like anyone else because genetics have a lot to do with the way we look.
Never change how you look for anyone else. At the end of the day, all that matters is that you are happy with your body and who you are as a person.
